Caltech is an independent, family-owed company, based in Scotland. From our Dundee base, we install and service all types of passenger lifts and stairlifts throughout Scotland and the North of England.

Company History
Caltech was established in 1978 and since then has grown from strength-to-strength. Over this time we have established a reputation for always delivering to the highest standards.

Family-Owned
Caltech is proud of its roots. The company was started by current managing director, Howard Renwick (pictured), and remains 100% family owned. This family tradition is continued throughout the company with Howard's sons Andrew and Fraser working in the Project Management and Engineering departments, respectively.

Pre-Qualified
Caltech is registered (no. 7018) with Constructionline - the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related suppliers.

In addition, Caltech has always held Employers, Public and Products Liability but is now covered by Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance to the value of £3,000,000.
